30 years ago, Dora was diagnosed with COPD and warned by her doctor that if she did not quit smoking right away, she would be carrying an oxygen tank with here everywhere she went for the rest of her life.
“That scared the heck out of me, so I quit right then and there and I have never looked back,” Dora told us. “But a few years ago, my breathing started getting bad again. I tried puffers and that worked for a while, but a couple months back I could barely walk without leaning on something.”
Dora went to the doctor and he prescribed home oxygen therapy. “I remember I was at the doctor’s office at 1:30 and by 3:30 Kelly from ProResp was knocking on my door. I was so impressed. We had a nice long chat and she set me up with everything I needed.”
Dora has noticed some big changes in her life since starting with ProResp. “I sleep so much better and wake up feeling far more rested, and if I do get out of breath the oxygen helps me recover so much faster,” she said.
“Kelly is truly a wonderful and caring person who has given me a chance to have a better life. She’s a superstar. But so is the whole team – Tim, Tina and Terry are so supportive and always willing to provide me with whatever I need,” added Dora.
